trans housing coalition

The Trans Housing Coalition (THC) arose from a GoFundMe started by Jesse Pratt López in mid-December 2019 to help a small group of Black Trans women she had met. The Trans Housing Coalition helps Atlanta’s chronically homeless Transgender and gender non-conforming people move from the streets into long-term housing and on to the lives they want to lead. Their vision is to to end chronic homelessness & support a better quality of life for the Trans & gender-nonconforming community.

aid atlanta

AID Atlanta has been providing HIV/AIDS-related services, care, and education since its inception in 1982. The agency was established in response to the devastating impact that HIV/AIDS was having on the Atlanta community. In the face of fear and bigotry, founding members volunteered their time to provide support and education. The organization quickly expanded to engage Black and Latino populations and meet the evolving needs of our diverse community in response to the epidemic. Today, AID Atlanta offers a broad range of services and is the most comprehensive AIDS service organization in the Southeast.
